1990 the Riverside County Sheriff's Department sent it's first team to the Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay Race put on by the LAPD. That year our team placed 56th out of 108 teams with a total time of 15.46:10. The following persons were the "Original" team runners: In 2011 "The Fastest Team" laid in down in a time of 14.04:16 5th place overall out of 261 teams.

The Team Captain's during it's run: John Gollogy (1990-1999) and Tim Elwell (2000-2009) Warren Ancheta (2010-current). The team unfortunately has also seen it's dark days as well. In 2007 Deputy Manuel Villegas was able to qualify for the team, because of his passing he was not able to compete in the race. Then in 2010, Sgt. Carlton Allen Aka" Hollywood" passed away as well. Carlton was a member of the 1st team in 1990, as well a member of other teams in the 90's. R.I.P Hollywood! ."RSD B2V 90"
